Pubs That Clean Their Pipes Sell More Beer

In a survey carried out by pub co. Punch they found that landlords who clean their pipes once every seven days (as recommended) are seeing a 2% increase in beer sales each year while those who clean fortnightly or less are seeing a 5% to 11% decrease, and they cite a pub in our area as an example. See the full article here

Transport to Hertfordshire Pubs

Discover some of our Hertfordshire G.B.G. entries. Many of the pubs can be reached easily by bus or train. The travel details given are from the nearest or most convenient railhead. Other local buses may also serve the area. School, shopper and works services have been omitted unless they offer the only access to a pub; please check bus times particularly on rural services to ensure that there is a convenient bus to - and from - your chosen pub, also that the pub will be open when you wish to visit. When walking to or from a country pub please take care as there are rarely pavements along county lanes. For details check the Link:

Branch Diary

Take a look at the extensive diary page and join us for a beer at one of the many good real ale venues.

If you wish to receive e-mail alerts of new branch diary dates contact the Webmaster (please quote your C.A.M.R.A. membership number).

Our aim is to promote the availability and interest in real ale across the Mid-Chilterns.

You can also get information of C.A.M.R.A. activities outside of the Mid-Chilterns by visiting our neighbour’s sites.
